Deep Espresso Brown gives this handwoven Pure Silk Kancheepuram saree an unusually rich, restrained colour story. The silk appears almost chocolate-dark through the deeper folds, while the gold zari becomes warmer and more pronounced wherever the surface catches light. Across the body, petite handwoven Mail buttas are arranged in a disciplined array grid, creating long ordered rows of gold against the dark silk.

This is a confirmed Rettapet composition in pure mulberry silk. The smaller scale of the Mail buttas lets the Deep Espresso Brown remain clearly visible between each motif, even though the body carries a generous amount of woven detail. Their repeated alignment gives the surface a precise rhythm that becomes especially beautiful through the pleats, where one row of gold appears after another.

The border is considerably more elaborate. Handwoven Yazhi motifs sit within the broader gold zari registers, surrounded by a sequence of finer ornamental lines and repeated woven bands.
