The pure mulberry silk body is woven in an exceptionally deep espresso brown with aubergine undertones, appearing almost black in lower light. Fine antique-gold zari lines cross the dark silk to form the characteristic Zari Kattam grid. The broad burgundy-red border introduces a warm tonal contrast without breaking the saree's dark, dramatic colour story. Antique-gold zari bands frame larger ornamental medallions with stylised bird and floral forms.
