Deep Cinnamon Brown Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with Floral Jaal Vanasringaram Motifs
Deep Cinnamon Brown Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with Floral Jaal Vanasringaram Motifs
Building an heirloom trousseau, one Kanjeevaram at a time — calls for a saree of extraordinary craftsmanship. This saree is handwoven in the traditional Butta style, with an intricate floral jaal of Vanasringaram motifs — vines, blossoms, parrots, peacocks, elephants, and traditional ornamental forms woven together in remarkable detail. Each saree takes 60 days from dyeing to weaving and cannot be replicated by machine. This saree is handwoven by our partner weaver families in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district. Read our story.
The entire body of this deep cinnamon brown pure mulberry silk is adorned with an exquisite floral jaal — an intricate all-over gold zari tapestry featuring elegant Vanasringaram motifs, where flourishing vines, blossoms, parrots, peacocks, elephants, and traditional ornamental forms are woven together in remarkable detail. This is a signature Kanchipuram pure silk Kanchipuram construction, prized for its exceptional depth and brilliance.
The grand, time-intensive pallu is meticulously woven with dense gold zari, complementing the richly patterned body and showcasing the extraordinary craftsmanship that defines heirloom Kanchipuram ceremonial silks. The saree is finished with a broad classic gold zari border.
A collector's piece for weddings, grand celebrations, and treasured occasions. Pair with a deep gold or ivory silk blouse and statement gold jewellery — a long haram, temple necklace, and jhumkas — for a truly heirloom finish.
