Body, Border and Pallu: The silk moves between dark purple, plum and brown-toned aubergine through the folds, revealing warmer purple and dark brinjal undertones under brighter light. The border becomes considerably more elaborate with a broad antique-gold Mayil (peacock) register, traditional ornamental scrollwork and multiple geometric zari bands. A narrow Arakku Red selvedge runs along the finishing edge, introducing a precise warm contrast beneath the purple and gold.
