The crimson vermilion body is 100% pure mulberry silk. The Gandaberunda Butta — small, precisely rendered double-headed eagle motifs in antique gold zari — are placed in a measured all-over rhythm across the body, the antique gold sitting warmly against the vivid vermilion ground. The soft blush pink border carries a delicate gold zari edge, the pale pink creating a refined and unexpected contrast to the vivid vermilion body — the border framing the saree softly without overpowering the richness of the body colour.
