Coral Peach Handwoven Pure Silk KanchiPattu Saree with Royal Indigo Varisaipet Zari Border
Coral Peach Handwoven Pure Silk KanchiPattu Saree with Royal Indigo Varisaipet Zari Border
This handwoven pure silk KanchiPattu is built around a sophisticated contrast between luminous soft coral-peach and deep royal indigo-purple. The warm body has a gentle blush quality, while the cooler border gives the saree an immediate sense of structure and depth.

The body remains beautifully restrained, scattered with individually woven gold zari motifs that alternate between petite floral medallions and delicate bird-inspired forms. Their measured spacing creates small jewel-like points of light while leaving the coral-peach silk open and luminous.
The Varisaipet border is considerably more elaborate. Deep indigo-purple silk is layered with antique-gold appearance zari, narrow raspberry-magenta lines and touches of forest green. Multiple horizontal ornamental registers build across the border, including a broader central field of floral and traditional figurative motifs framed by finer geometric bands.
The pallu expands the Varisaipet structure dramatically, opening into a deep indigo field divided into long vertical zari panels. Each register carries dense traditional ornament and is framed by slender green and magenta lines, creating a rhythmic, almost architectural panel effect across the silk.
The colour story is particularly memorable: coral peach, royal indigo-purple, antique gold, raspberry-magenta and deep green. The warm and cool tones sit in deliberate opposition, giving the saree a stately traditional presence with an unexpectedly contemporary sense of colour.
Styling: Pair it with deep indigo-purple for a strong tonal extension of the border, or choose raspberry-magenta for a sharper jewel-toned contrast. Antique-gold jewellery with one restrained green accent will echo the woven palette beautifully. Keep the pallu open enough to show its long vertical Varisaipet registers.
