Cinnamon Brown Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Saree with Gold Zari Checks and Peacock Motif Border

Cinnamon Brown Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Saree with Gold Zari Checks and Peacock Motif Border

An impromptu get-together — the saree that makes any evening feel special — calls for a saree of rich, textured elegance. This saree is handwoven using finer 2-ply and 3-ply mulberry silk yarn, offering effortless comfort without compromising on timeless Kanchipuram artistry. Each saree takes 46 days from dyeing to weaving and cannot be replicated by machine. Our artisan partners in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district hand-weave every saree we sell. Read our story.

Handwoven to order, not mass-produced. Handwoven to order over 46 days — dyeing through to the final weave, no two pieces identical.
● Silk Mark Certified ● 46 Days on Loom ● Pure Mulberry Silk ● Handwoven in Kanchipuram

The body is a rich cinnamon brown pure mulberry silk, woven with an elegant gold zari checked pattern. Alternating circular and floral zari buttas lend rhythm and traditional charm across the silk. This is a signature Kanchipuram pure silk Kanchipuram construction, prized for its intricate detail.

The broad gold zari border showcases classic peacock motifs framed by intricate geometric and chevron detailing, finished with a deep bottle green selvedge, in the spirit of classic Kanchipuram ceremonial silks. The pallu continues the same gold zari craftsmanship in a fuller sweep.

An elegant choice for weddings, festive celebrations, and comfortable all-day wear. Pair with a bottle green or antique-gold silk blouse and gold jewellery — a temple necklace and jhumkas — for a rich, celebratory finish.
