Blush Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchi Pattu Saree with Korvai Weave & Antique Gold Zari Border

Blush Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchi Pattu Saree with Korvai Weave & Antique Gold Zari Border

Friday evening temple visits, a weekly desi tradition, call for a saree of quiet grandeur. Body and border are woven separately and structurally interlocked on the loom — the signature Korvai technique — here bringing together a graceful blush pink body with a striking antique gold zari border. Each saree takes 45 days from dyeing to weaving and cannot be replicated by machine. Handwoven with generations of skill by families in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu. Read our story.

Handwoven to order, not mass-produced. Handwoven, start to finish. 45 days — dyeing the thread, setting up the loom, and weaving the final piece.
● Silk Mark Certified ● 20 Days on Loom ● Pure Mulberry Silk ● Handwoven in Kanchipuram

The body is a graceful blush pink pure mulberry silk, scattered with traditional mayil (peacock) zari buttas for a delicate shimmer. This is a signature Korvai construction, prized for the structural precision of its separately woven, hand-interlocked border.

The broad antique gold zari border is richly woven with intricate traditional motifs, lending this pure silk Kanchipuram the unmistakable elegance of a classic Kanchipuram silk. The border leads into a richly woven pallu, carrying the same zari detailing in a fuller sweep.

Comfortable to drape and effortless to wear, this saree is perfect for weddings, temple ceremonies, festive occasions, and heirloom gifting. Pair with a solid antique gold or deep rose silk blouse and delicate gold jewellery — jhumkas and a slim vanki — for a timeless, elegant finish.
