Blush Peach Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchi Pattu Saree with Lilac-Pink Selvedge
Blush Peach Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchi Pattu Saree with Lilac-Pink Selvedge
At a Veena or violin recital by a young Indian American artist, this blush peach saree carries the same quiet grace as the music itself. This is a handwoven pure silk Kanchi Pattu saree in the Butta weave, where each petite motif is meticulously woven into the fabric using time-honoured jacquard techniques, adding delicate texture while preserving the smooth lustre of pure mulberry silk. Each saree takes 18 days on the loom and cannot be replicated by machine. Handcrafted on family looms in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu — read our story.
The soft blush peach body is scattered with petite gold zari buttas, understated and elegant against the gentle base colour. Woven in the Butta technique, the motifs preserve the smooth lustre of pure mulberry silk while adding graceful texture throughout. Explore more of our Kanchipuram ceremonial silks.
The luminous antique gold zari border is accented with a subtle lilac-pink selvedge, creating a refined contrast that beautifully complements the understated body colour. The pallu continues this soft, elegant palette, rounding out a saree built for daytime celebrations.
This saree is ideal for daytime weddings, engagement ceremonies, festive gatherings, temple visits, and elegant celebrations. Pair it with a lilac, dusty rose, or ivory blouse, and finish the look with delicate gold jewellery, a string of pearls, or a simple gold choker.
