Woven in pure silk, this saree holds a deep black body in a quiet, elegant field and lets the buttas do the speaking. Border: The border stays within the same black colour family and builds richness through broad classic-gold zari bands. Ornamental floral and paisley-like detailing, fine parallel lines, narrow rust-brown accent registers and compact triangular edging give it a grounded old-Kanchi character without interrupting the black body.
Pallu: The pallu becomes visibly denser, with multiple vertical classic-gold zari panels running across the black silk. Distinct tanpura woven silk-thread buttas add a rare musical note to the composition, making the shoulder fall especially striking.
