Arakku Red Kanchi Kattam Pure Kanchipuram Silk Saree with Turmeric Yellow Korvai Border
Arakku Red Kanchi Kattam Pure Kanchipuram Silk Saree with Turmeric Yellow Korvai Border
Pure Kanchipuram Silk in a striking meeting of Arakku-rose and turmeric-yellow — like crimson petals set against the last golden light of a temple courtyard. Fine silk-thread Kanchi Kattam checks trace the body with measured geometry; a Thazampoo Reku transition rises in sharp, rhythmic peaks before the broad manjal-yellow Korvai border. Narrow seer lines continue the old-Kanchi language into the restrained striped pallu. Entirely silk-thread ornamentation; no zari, as confirmed for this saree.
❖ Woven on traditional handlooms by artisan families in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, where generations of weaving knowledge shape every saree. Approximately 16 active days on the loom, followed by careful finishing.
