This Kanchi Pattu carries a traditional Pattupet construction in pure mulberry silk, using silk-thread colour and woven structure rather than metallic zari for its principal ornament. The deep Arakku checked body remains a secondary surface feature, while Pattupet is the primary classification. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Border: Vivid Manjal silk forms the border, meeting the darker Arakku body through a repeated row of pointed temple-style forms. Fine Arakku lines frame the yellow without introducing metallic ornament.
Pallu: The Manjal pallu develops long vertical silk lines and broad Arakku or rust-brown panels, several ending in strong pointed forms that echo the temple geometry of the border.
