Aqua Blue Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjivaram Vairaoosi Saree with Emerald Green Zari Edge

Aqua Blue Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjivaram Vairaoosi Saree with Emerald Green Zari Edge

Aqua Blue gives this handwoven Pure Silk Kanjivaram a serene luminous character, with the silk shifting softly as it moves through light. The body is defined by traditional Vairaoosi, an exceptionally fine linear weave that creates a disciplined needle-stripe texture across the silk.

❖ Made to order, not off a shelf. This saree took 45 days — dyeing, threading, and roughly 20 on the loom — to complete.

Sparingly placed zari motifs interrupt the fine linear surface without disturbing its quiet rhythm. Handwoven in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Read our story.

Border & Pallu: The border is finely worked in zari and finished with a narrow Emerald Green edge that sharpens the cool Aqua palette. The pallu develops into a richer woven composition while remaining visually connected to the understated body.

Styling: A tonal Aqua blouse keeps the palette soft, while Emerald Green repeats the jewel-like edge. Antique gold or ivory offers a quieter ceremonial direction. Pair with pearls or traditional gold jewellery for festive occasions, ceremonies, cultural gatherings and special occasions.

Slight color variations due to screen and lighting; daylight photos/videos available on request.

Blouse Piece Included: 0.8m running blouse piece. See our Blouse Stitching Guide.

✦ Fall & Picot Finishing included complimentary with every order.
