The border is deliberately layered. Vankipet is stacked with Malli Moggu and a substantial Benares Pet, giving the edge greater weight against the precise geometry of the body.
Then comes the pallu: grand, richly worked and filled with Kodi Malar, floral climbers arranged in repeated zari arrays.
