Soft Orchid Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Vairaoosi Saree with Peacock Motif
Soft Orchid Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Vairaoosi Saree with Peacock Motif
An orchid pink softened to the colour of petals in the last light of evening, with fine Vairaoosi stripes lending the silk an even, quiet glow. A gold-toned peacock with a graceful trailing tail rises near the border, delicate against the open pink field.
❖ 20 days of loom work went into this saree, handwoven in Kanchipuram by generations of artisan weaver families using certified pure silk.

The Vairaoosi tradition draws slender, closely ordered lines through the silk. Soft orchid-pink silk featuring fine, closely ordered Vairaoosi lines and a gold-toned peacock with a sweeping tail near the border. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. A saree of this complexity represents approximately 20 or more active days on the loom, with exact weaving time varying according to the individual saree. Read our story.
Border: An elegant pink-and-gold zari band meets a contrasting fresh-green selvedge; the slender green edge gives the delicate pink a considered finish.
Pallu: A luminous zari lattice grid whose intricate intersections bring richness without disturbing the serenity of the pastel body.
Styling: For a contemporary contrast, choose a muted jade-green blouse with clean lines and minimal gold embroidery at the sleeve hem. Pearl drops or petite gold earrings, worn with a smooth bun, are enough to complement the softness of this pink and the peacock zari.
Slight color variations due to screen and lighting; daylight photos/videos available on request.
Blouse Piece Included: 0.8m running blouse piece. See our Blouse Stitching Guide.
