Lotus Rose and Rani Pink Butta Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Saree with Gold Elephant Border
Like the gentle pink of a lotus petal meeting the rich colour of a fully opened bloom, this Kanjeevaram balances a muted rose with the joy of rani pink.

This pure mulberry silk Kanjeevaram is built on a classic Butta composition, with delicate gold buttas dotted across the bright-pink field. A saree of this type typically represents approximately 16 or more active days on the loom, with exact weaving time varying according to the individual saree. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Read our story.
Border: A broad rani-pink border is built in intricate antique-gold zari: rows of circular ornament, flowering vines and a stately central frieze of elephants. The fine pink edging keeps the finish graceful.
Pallu: The rani-pink contrast portion continues with scattered small gold motifs and lavish gold zari near its edge, creating a vivid finish without overwhelming the softer rose.
Styling: For a modern heirloom look, try a plain rani-pink elbow-sleeve blouse with fine gold piping; alternatively, a rose-toned blouse with delicate hand embroidery. Pair with pearl drops or a small antique-gold necklace. It suits Diwali family celebrations, Karthigai Deepam gatherings, South Indian weddings, seemantham ceremonies and winter festive lunches.
