Fuchsia Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kancheepuram Vairaoosi Saree with Yazhi Motif
Fuchsia Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kancheepuram Vairaoosi Saree with Yazhi Motif
Fuchsia pink as vivid as the blossoms in a temple courtyard: a saturated silk colour made even more radiant by the closely ordered lines of Vairaoosi weaving. The gold-toned Yazhi motif creates an unexpected pause in the striped body, a familiar flourish from the visual language of Kanchipuram.
❖ Woven in Kanchipuram over 20 days on the loom, using Silk Mark certified pure silk, by artisans who have handed this craft down through generations.

The Vairaoosi tradition draws slender, closely ordered lines through the silk. Vivid fuchsia-pink silk with fine linear Vairaoosi striping and a gold-toned Yazhi motif above the border. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. A saree of this complexity represents approximately 20 or more active days on the loom, with exact weaving time varying according to the individual saree. Read our story.
Border: An ornate gold-toned zari band is finished with a slim green selvedge, an elegant counterpoint to the radiance of the pink.
Pallu: A richly patterned gold zari lattice, its grid catching the light against the bright pink silk.
Styling: A deep bottle-green contrast blouse gives this radiant pink a timeless old-Kanchi balance. Keep embroidery minimal—perhaps a tiny gold thread motif at each sleeve—then add a single traditional necklace or compact gold studs to let the saree remain the statement.
Slight color variations due to screen and lighting; daylight photos/videos available on request.
Blouse Piece Included: 0.8m running blouse piece. See our Blouse Stitching Guide.
