Deep Red Lightweight Pure Silk Kanchipuram Silk Thread Kattam Saree with Powder Blue Gold Border
Deep Red Lightweight Pure Silk Kanchipuram Silk Thread Kattam Saree with Powder Blue Gold Border
A deep, beautifully saturated red, touched with the quiet gleam of woven silk-thread checks. This lightweight Kanchipuram saree brings together the warmth of traditional Arakku-family colour and the freshness of a soft powder-blue contrast.
The border begins with a delicate blue-grey Thazhampoo Reku pattern, its pointed forms creating a beautiful transition from the red silk body. Beyond it lies a broad powder-blue band ornamented with fine gold zari geometry and traditional Mayil Kann and Rudraksham Pet-inspired detailing.
The pallu opens into an elegant arrangement of parallel gold zari bands across powder-blue silk. The long, measured stripes recall the visual rhythm of an Ilkal-style pallu, while the rich geometric zari at the edge gives the drape a distinctly Kanchipuram character.
Pair with powder-blue silk for a considered tonal contrast, or choose a deep red blouse to allow the border to become the centrepiece.
Handwoven pure silk, interpreted in a lighter construction for a beautifully graceful drape.
