Across the body, Veldhari is woven in zari, creating disciplined horizontal lines that bring rhythm and a subtle change of light to the silk.

The border is a Ganga Jamuna border: the top border and the bottom border are woven in two different colours. It carries Thogai Mayil, the feathered vocabulary of the peacock translated into traditional zari ornament, giving the edge definition without overwhelming the clarity of the body.

The Seer pallu is deliberately balanced. Fine vertical zari passages and broader woven fields alternate with restraint, allowing the intense Vadamalli colour to remain part of the design rather than disappearing beneath ornament.
