Deep Adar Pachai gives this handwoven Pure Silk Kanchi Pattu a quiet, earthy depth. The green recalls rain-darkened betel leaves, shaded paddy and moss settling into old temple stone, with a muted richness rather than the brightness of emerald. Against it, the Arakku border and mundhanai bring the warmth of ripe pomegranate skin and old red lacquer.

The body is a confirmed Zari Kattam, built through a fine, closely set zari-grid structure that creates a delicate textured rhythm across the Adar Pachai silk. Scattered buttas glint in soft gold and silvery visual tones, appearing almost like dew catching morning sun and moonlight across the darker green field. These are visual zari tones only, and no metal composition is implied.

Border: The Arakku contrast is articulated with classic gold zari arranged in neat ornamental bands. Traditional figurative Kanchipuram motifs repeat within the zari registers, framed by smaller geometric details. The exact figurative identity has intentionally not been assigned beyond what is confirmed.

Mundhanai: The pallu becomes substantially richer, with dense classic-gold ornamental weaving spreading across the Arakku ground. The greater concentration of zari gives the mundhanai a stately finish, like molten gold moving across a deep red evening sky.

Styling: An Arakku blouse creates the strongest continuation of the border and mundhanai, while Adar Pachai keeps the composition quieter and tonal. Antique-gold jewellery is the natural anchor. A single cool-metal accent can subtly echo the buttas’ silvery visual tone, while jasmine, muted-gold footwear and a deep-green or Arakku clutch complete the look without crowding the weave.

The dark green, red and gold palette works particularly well for Vijayadashami, Deepavali, Karthigai Deepam, weddings, temple programs, classical performances, arangetrams and other festive occasions, ceremonies, cultural gatherings and special occasions.
