Mauve Pink and Deep Maroon Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjivaram Saree with Korvai Kaal Irangiya Border
Mauve Pink and Deep Maroon Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjivaram Saree with Korvai Kaal Irangiya Border
This mauve pink and deep maroon Kanjivaram is woven in the Korvai tradition — body and border woven separately and structurally interlocked on the loom, producing a seamless junction between contrasting sections — handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Silk Mark certified.
The body is woven in luminous mauve pink pure mulberry silk with a fine Zari Kattam grid. The deep maroon Korvai border carries the traditional Kaal Irangiya motif — the temple descending flame design — in antique gold zari, continuing into a deep maroon pallu in full Kaal Irangiya repeat — a saree suited for Navratri celebrations, weddings, temple ceremonies, and auspicious family occasions.
A mauve pink Korvai Kanjivaram pairs best with a deep maroon silk blouse to mirror the Korvai border fully. A rose pink or antique gold raw silk blouse also works beautifully against the mauve body for a softer ceremonial look. Explore our full range of handwoven Korvai Kanchipuram silk sarees. Also handwoven in the Kanchipuram tradition: Zari Kattam silk sarees, Vairaoosi silk sarees, and our full range of pure silk Kanchipuram sarees.
