The Paalum Pazhamum checked body celebrates colour through intersecting bands of silk. Squares of turmeric-yellow Manjal, Kesari orange, fresh Thulir Pachai green, peacock blue, radiant pink and violet meet like coloured gemstones in the afternoon sun. Border Against this lively field, the royal-blue border carries generously scaled Kamalam lotus medallions, framed by fine geometric and traditional zari detailing.

Pallu The grand royal-blue pallu is richly handwoven with an intricate diamond-grid zari lattice, rows of circular ornamental motifs and elaborate traditional Kanchipuram patterning. Multicoloured tassels lend a playful finishing touch.
