Crimson Red Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjipuram Saree with Vairaoosi and Gold Zari Border
Crimson Red Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjipuram Saree with Vairaoosi and Gold Zari Border
This handwoven Kanchipuram silk saree is a timeless expression of the Vairaoosi tradition. Vairaoosi: Fine needle-like zari lines woven continuously across the body, creating a delicate all-over shimmer. Each saree takes 12 days on the loom and cannot be replicated by machine. Each piece comes from generations of weaving families near Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu — read our story.
The body is woven in crimson red pure mulberry silk in the Oosi Vaanam style, with fine gold zari lines flowing across the surface like a sky lit with golden needles — a signature of our Vairaoosi collection.
A self gold zari border completes the saree with quiet sophistication, while the pallu carries rich gold zari for a festive finish. Explore more Vairaoosi Kanchipuram sarees in similar tones.
This saree is well suited to weddings, temple ceremonies, and festive occasions, and pairs beautifully with a deep red or gold-toned blouse and traditional gold jewellery.
