A rich vermilion red Kancheepuram saree is woven with petite kamalam and diamond zari buttas, forming a refined all-over pattern across the body. Each saree takes six days on the loom and cannot be replicated by machine. This saree is the work of the artisan families we've partnered with near Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, who have woven silk for generations — read our story.

The vermilion red body is woven in pure mulberry silk, its warmth setting off the fine kamalam and diamond buttas in gold zari — a hallmark of Kanchipuram ceremonial silks.

A broad traditional gold zari border finished with temple detailing frames the saree, its pallu echoing the same motifs for classic ceremonial elegance.

This saree is well suited to weddings and ceremonial occasions. Pair with a gold or deep green blouse, and complete the look with a temple jewellery set and a statement gold necklace.
