Sky Blue Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Saree with Korvai and Ganga Jamuna Border

This sky blue Kanjeevaram is woven in the Korvai tradition — body and border woven separately and structurally interlocked on the loom — with a Ganga Jamuna border where two contrasting border colours flank the body.

At the Chithirai festival procession, this sky blue Kanjeevaram speaks the visual language of ceremony. The body is sky blue silk with scattered Maanga Butta in gold zari. The border is a Ganga Jamuna construction — one side violet-purple, one side scarlet red, both with horizontal gold zari bands. The pallu carries the Ganga Jamuna contrast through to the full pallu width.
