Golden Mustard and Emerald Green Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with Thazhampoo Reku Border
Golden Mustard and Emerald Green Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with Thazhampoo Reku Border
This golden mustard and emerald green Kanchipuram is woven in the Pattupet tradition — silk only, no zari — the purest expression of the Kanchipuram loom where silk thread is the sole narrator and colour the only ornament. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Silk Mark certified.
The golden mustard body is woven in pure mulberry silk — its characteristic silk sheen shifting between deep gold and amber as the wearer moves. Entirely plain, no butta, no zari. The emerald green Thazhampoo Reku border — the pandanus flower-inspired woven line — frames the saree with one of the most refined border signatures in the classical Kanchipuram vocabulary. A saree suited for wedding receptions, classical music and dance occasions, and understated bridal wear.
A golden mustard Pattupet Kanchipuram pairs best with an emerald green silk blouse to mirror the border fully. A deep gold or ivory raw silk blouse also works beautifully for a more neutral ceremonial look. Explore our full range of pure silk Kanchipuram sarees. Also handwoven in the Kanchipuram tradition: Korvai silk sarees, Vairaoosi silk sarees, and Zari Kattam silk sarees.
