The Kanchi Kattam body in green and yellow — bold silk checks in deep green, golden yellow and olive tones form a graphic checked body, in pure mulberry silk.

The border is a striking pillar-box red border, edged with traditional temple detailing in antique-gold zari, with a lower border richly woven in peacock and floral zari motifs, completed with a heritage-finished pallu carrying the same peacock and floral zari detailing as the border.

Handwoven by skilled artisan families in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, using pure mulberry silk and traditional handloom techniques, this saree is perfect for Pongal, weddings, temple celebrations and festive occasions.
