The body is woven in a deep, saturated purple in smooth plain-weave pure mulberry silk. Yaanai Chakram buttas — circular elephant medallion motifs — are placed at measured intervals in antique gold zari. The Rettapet border carries twin parallel bands in striking magenta, and the Annam swan pallu continues in magenta with the sacred Annam bird in gold zari cascading across the full pallu width.
