Golden Mustard and Chilli Red Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Saree with Thazhampoo Reku Border

Golden Mustard and Chilli Red Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Saree with Thazhampoo Reku Border

This golden mustard and chilli red Kanjeevaram is woven in the Pattupet tradition — silk only, no zari — the purest expression of the Kanchipuram loom where silk thread is the sole narrator and colour the only ornament. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Silk Mark certified.

The golden mustard body is woven in pure mulberry silk — luminous ochre-gold shifting between gold and amber with the light, entirely unadorned. The chilli red Thazhampoo Reku border arrives bold and vivid, the pandanus flower-inspired woven line rendered as a delicate repeated motif at the selvedge. A saree suited for temple festivals, Pongal celebrations, Navarathri Golu, and festive family occasions where colour speaks without ornament.

A golden mustard Pattupet Kanjeevaram pairs best with a chilli red silk blouse to mirror the border. A deep gold or mustard raw silk blouse also works beautifully for a tonal body look. Explore our full range of pure silk Kanchipuram sarees. Also handwoven in the Kanchipuram tradition: Korvai silk sarees, Vairaoosi silk sarees, and Zari Kattam silk sarees.
