Peach Pink Tissue Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Butta Saree with Royal Blue Yaanai Zari Border
Peach Pink Tissue Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Butta Saree with Royal Blue Yaanai Zari Border
A soft peach-pink tissue ground is set against saturated royal blue, creating a colour contrast that is bright without becoming sharp. The light-catching body stays relatively open, while the border and pallu carry the heavier gold work and the more figurative Kanjeevaram detail.
❖ This saree was woven over 14 days on the loom in Kanchipuram, using Silk Mark certified pure silk, by weaver families whose craft has been passed down for generations.

Woven in the Butta tradition, the peach-pink tissue body uses a restrained placement of zari motifs so the luminous silk ground remains visible. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. A saree of this complexity represents approximately 14 or more active days on the loom, with exact weaving time varying according to the individual saree. Read our story.
Border: Saturated royal-blue border with large classic-gold Yaanai motifs, geometric bands and fine traditional edging.
Pallu: Royal-blue pallu with a dense classic-gold diamond field and a long Yaanai register framed by multiple fine zari lines.
Styling: A royal-blue blouse gives the cleanest continuation of the border, while antique gold makes the tissue body feel warmer. Pair with one strong temple necklace or sculptural jhumkas, jasmine and a compact blue or muted-gold clutch. Keep the drape open enough to show the contrast border clearly.
The peach, royal blue and gold palette works beautifully for Navratri gatherings, Vijayadashami, Deepavali celebrations, receptions, wedding ceremonies, classical performances and other festive occasions and special gatherings.
