Avanti is a classic Kanchipuram in a vivid vermilion red. The body features window-pane zari checks (gold with silver accents, sonaroopa ) that catch the light beautifully. Inside the checks, spaced buttas alternate between round “coin/asharfi” medallions and elegant peacock motifs—balanced, festive, and timeless.

Design Details

• Borders: Broad traditional borders layered in rich gold zari—striped kaddi lines, a floral/rudraksha band, and a story panel with elephants and annam/peacock figures. Finished with a deep olive-brown selvedge for definition.
• Pallu: A grand, coppery-gold and silver sonaroopa zari pallu with intricate motifs and cross-hatch textures; knotted tassels complete the look.
